Why the press exists.
Revision Pressworks publishes long-form works of revisionist scholarship — books that reinterpret accepted facts in light of evidence the consensus has not yet caught up with. We work in history, prehistory, science, and philosophy.
The press is small by design. One ambitious title at a time, edited carefully, produced to last. We are not a tech-stack startup pretending to be a publisher; we are a publisher.
What we publish — and what we don't.
We publish revisionist history in the strict sense: the reinterpretation of accepted facts. We do not publish alternative history that fabricates them. We do not publish ancient-aliens speculation, conspiracy reframes, or works that mistake provocation for argument.
The distinction matters. Our writers ask whether the evidence supports the consensus reading — they do not invent evidence to support a different one.
